My Story

A simpler recipe came to us and we worked it to be more scrumptious.

Recipe

Total Preparation Time: 15 min

Total Cooking Time: 10-12 min

Ingredients

1/2 cup Butter

1 cup Pumpkin; I use canned

1 tsp. Vanilla Extract

2 cups Flour

1 tsp. Baking Soda

1 tsp. Baking Power

1 tsp. Cinnamon

1 cup Raisins

½ cup Chocolate Chips

½ cup Optional: chopped nuts and/or sunflower seeds

Method

Pre-heat oven to 350F

Cream butter and sugar.

Add pumpkin and vanilla

Add mixed dry ingredients

Add chocolate, raisins, and nuts/seeds if desired.

Drop rounded teaspoon sized dough on greased cookie sheet.

Bake 10-12 minutes. Should be moist but baked trough.

Tips

Good quality chocolate chips and fresh, unopened raisins helps.

Sometimes I am more generous with the chocolate chips and raisins.
